Film Review | “TENET” directed by Christopher Nolan

Tenet is a 2020 action-thriller written and directed by Christopher Nolan. The film stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, and Kenneth Branagh. The plot follows a secret agent (Washington) as he manipulates time to stop the end of the world. Throughout the film there are hints and Easter eggs planted everywhere that will eventually come together to help close out the movie beautifully. I really enjoyed this film. It was full of suspense and action from the beginning of the film to the end.
Nolan is known for making action films that change the way we make movies, and Tenet gives action films a new direction in story telling. Without giving away too much, this film is a thinking film. You have to pay attention, because there is a lot of information that helps you understand the flow of the story in every dialogue. I’ll be honest there were some parts that made me push the “snooze” button ha ha. This is why I say, pay attention. My wife, and I saw this film together and she still doesn’t understand it. This does not change the way I feel about the film, I really enjoyed it. I didn’t even mention the music, it was loud and powerful…I loved it. It amped up every action scene to make it 10 times more powerful. Go see this film, you won’t regret it.

My rating : 9 out of 10 Stars
