CURRENT URBAN MAGAZINE
TRAVEL SERIES – DRIVE EPISODE 2 – (FRENCH QUARTER DURING THE PANDEMIC AT NIGHT)

Welcome to our new series where we travel around areas, and show the viewers what’s really going on in the streets. We will show the good and the bad, and at any time during the day. This series will not only be filmed by car, we will be on foot and sometimes on a bike. In our first 2 episodes we recorded the French Quarter during the Covid-19 pandemic. In order to show the difference in crowd size, we needed to film what it looks like during the day and night especially on Bourbon street haha. The French Quarter (THE VIEUX CARRE) is the city’s historic heart, famous for its vibrant nightlife and colorful buildings with cast-iron balconies. Crowd-pleasing Bourbon Street features jazz clubs, Cajun eateries and raucous bars serving potent cocktails. Quieter streets lead to the French Market, with gourmet food and local crafts, and to Jackson Square where street performers entertain in front of soaring St. Louis Cathedral.
