Art & Animation | Black Panther | Full Animated Series – Episodes 1-6

The Black Panther series was written and created by filmmaker and writer Reginald Hudlin, the president of entertainment for BET from 2005 to 2008 — the same man who created Shuri when he wrote the comic during the same period. The Black Panther TV show, which initially aired in Australia in 2010 and later in the United States the year after, follows T’Challa’s quest to find out who killed his father, the former King T’Chaka.

In addition to the characters from the new Black Panther movie, the series also features appearances from such old familiar Marvel faces as Captain America, Storm, and Wolverine. And despite its quasi-obscurity, the show had quite the cast voicing the characters, including Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond, Amistad) as T’Challa, Kerry Washington (Scandal) as Shuri, Alfre Woodard (Luke Cage) as Dondi Reese, and Jill Scott (Black Lightning) as Storm. Even Stan Lee voiced a character named General Wallace.
