I have not tried any of the products in my Fall box. So, I can’t give y’all an individual review of each product. However, I would like to give you a review of the FabFitFun boxes in general. I’ve been a member for about 4 years now. I’ve read a lot of people complaining that they aren’t happy with their choices or what they’ve been receiving in their boxes.
I can’t say that I have been happy with every single box or the choices available, but I am overall happy with the company and their products choices. I have come across so many cool brands I probably would’ve never tried. Some of my skincare favorites came from FFF.
One of my favorite products from FFF is the Korres Wild Rose Night-Brightening Sleeping Facial. Not only does it smell amazing, but it really does brighten your skin and adds a beautiful glow! The texture is creamy and moisturizing without being heavy or greasy. A little goes a long way and can last a long time if you use it once or twice a week. I like to use it when my skin is dry and tight. It contains vitamin C, so I use it on the nights I don’t use retinol or tretinoin. It retails for only $48 and if you check the Korres website, they have 20% off from time to time. I suggest this product if you suffer from ashy, lackluster skin. This will brighten your skin without making you oily.
The next product that I absolutely LOVE and would not have found if it weren’t for FabFitFun is the O.R.G Mineral Peel for the face. I had this product sitting in my cabinet for months before I tried it. Boy, did I regret that because this is a miracle product! Apply to clean, dry skin and rub away the dead skin cells on your face. As I mentioned earlier, I use tretinoin, also known as Retin-A. It dries my skin and sometimes causes flakes. This has been a lifesaver! Pre-covid, I had to show up to work and classes with flakes of skin hanging from my face. I couldn’t figure out how to get rid of it. I would moisturize, but in the middle of the day, the flakes would show up again mid-day. I used to have very long hours between working and school and masks weren’t in back then, so I had to walk around with flaky skin. I didn’t have to time to deal with it. It wasn’t until I realized that a good exfoliation helps with this problem and that’s what this product does. You can see the dead skin pill up as you are using it and it is soooooo satisfying. You are left with fresh, clean skin that doesn’t feel stripped. I highly recommend ORG Mineral Peel!
The last of my top 3 favorite products is the Elemis Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream-Oil. I swear it instantly plumps my skin adding a healthy glow instantly! It has a cooling effect on the skin which feels so divine! It smells good too!
Tretinoin has transformed my skin. In the beginning, I was having a lot of trouble with the purging, but thanks to the products mentioned above, I was able to manage that purge with grace. It’s all about balance, and these products help bring balance to my skincare routine.
Now, if you don’t take care of your skin and don’t drink water, then none of this will help you. You can’t just slap on some expensive cream and expect it to work without doing your part. Exfoliate, moisturize and hydrate! Eating leafy greens does wonders too!
Overall, I am very happy with my subscription to FFF. Not every box will be your jam, but I guarantee you will eventually come across something you can’t live without, and to me that’s a win! If you don’t like something, you can give it away as a gift or sell it on Ebay.
